Hi Beccy, welcome!

I'm still drooling every time I think of the boar sausage and can't wait to get back for more. Apparently the menu in Eden @ Bellinter is very similar to Eden in Temple Bar, so you might get lucky if you popped in there for lunch!

Child-friendliness seems to be a feature of most of Jay Bourke's eateries. Both the Bodega & Cafe Bar Deli here in Cork are most welcoming of small ones - although I did hear that the Market Bar in Dublin is less tolerant. It definitely makes for a less stressy & more enjoyable experience when they're happy.

The wild boar sounds delicious.

I agree about Ireland needing to welcome children. It rarely happens here but in the US and on the continent children are made so welcome which makes eating out very enjoyable.
